Professional

I graduated from East Central University in 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree. I decided to return to the classroom to earn my Master's degree in Library Media Science in 2005. I also completed my National Board Certification in 2007. I am beginning my 17th year at Tishomingo Public School and 19th year overall. I am currently pursuing my second master’s degree in School Counseling at ECU! 

Personal

I am married to Brandon Moreland who is the new elementary principal. We have 8 year old twin boys. I grew up in a "teaching" family. My brother, brother-in-law, mother, aunt, uncle, and numerous cousins are in the teaching field. My favorite color is pink and I love to read. Fantasy is my favorite genre! I love traveling, especially going to the beach. I believe all children can learn and try to provide a positive learning environment so they can all succeed!
