I’m beginning my second year at Tishomingo Middle School. I teach 7th and 8th grade ELAR.
This is my 19th year as a teacher. I’ve taught grades 4th through 12th grades in Texas and in Oklahoma. Middle school is by far my favorite age legel to teach! In addition to English/Language Arts/Reading, I’ve also taught health, US history, world history, science, PE, and athletics, having coached for 3 years as well.
I’ve been married for 16 years to Jeff Alexander. He is currently the Defensive Coordinator for all football teams, assistant high school basketball, and head boys’ track coach. He also teaches elementary PE. We have 4 amazing kiddos: Olivia who is a sophomore at THS, Hudson who is an 8th grader at TMS, Luke who is a 4th grader at TES, and Kade who is also at TES as a 2nd grader.
I enjoy watching my kids in their various sporting events (which takes up most of our time!) I also enjoy reading, shopping, watching true crime shows, and cooking/baking (although my family would say otherwise!)
