Mrs. Phillips began teaching for Tishomingo High School in 2013. She began as a math and computer teacher and has since taught special education and English. She is currently teaching Special Education with courses in math, English, and transitions/life skills.
Mrs. Phillips started her teaching career in 1988 at Murray State College. She taught there until 2012 teaching courses in computer applications, computer programming, accounting, economics, and marketing/management. She has spent many summers working as a counselor at youth camps. She loves working with young people and enjoys watching them develop and mature into productive young adults.
Mrs. Phillips has been happily married to her husband, Jerold, since 1990. They have two children, Jeromy and Courtney, who are both graduates of Tishomingo High School.
