January 15: No SCHOOL! Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
January 24: Celebration Assembly in elementary gym (8:15am)
January 30: Class pictures will be taken!
February 5: 100th Day of School Celebration
February 14: Valentine’s Day class parties (times vary per classroom)
February 20-27: Elementary Book Fair
February 21: Celebration Assembly in elementary gym (8:15am)
February 22: Progress Reports go home!
February 23: Box Tops Due!
February 26-March 2: Dr. Seuss Week (dress-up days will be announced later)
March 9: NO SCHOOL…. Professional Day for staff.
March 15: Parent Teacher Conferences 3:30-9:00
March 16-25: SPRING BREAK!!!
March 27: PK pre-enrollment 6-7pm in cafeteria (students MUST be 4 years old by September 1, 2018)
March 27: Spring pictures
March 28: Celebration Assembly in elementary gym (8:15am)
March 29: Progress Reports go home! (These are the same reports that will be handed to parents at conferences on March 15).
March 29: Egg hunts and parties for early childhood classes
March 30: Scheduled SNOW DAY- no school! (This is subject to change if we have to use a snow day before this time due to bad weather)
April 2-5: 3rd and 4th grade OSTP (state testing for reading and math)
April 3: PK Program at 6pm; KG program at 7pm…. both programs at the MSC Fletcher Auditorium
April 6: Scheduled SNOW DAY- no school! (This is subject to change if we have to use a snow day before this time due to bad weather)
April 13: Scheduled SNOW DAY- no school! (This is subject to change if we have to use a snow day before this time due to bad weather)
April 18: Celebration Assembly in the elementary gym (8:15am)
April 19: LAND RUN Day for ALL grades!!! (Notes will be sent home with details…. ALL are encouraged to dress up!)
April 20: Scheduled SNOW DAY- no school! (This is subject to change if we have to use a snow day before this time due to bad weather)
April 26: Progress Reports go home!
April 26: 4th grade graduation at Murray State College at 6pm (dress students in “Sunday-best” clothes)
April 27: Scheduled SNOW DAY- no school! (This is subject to change if we have to use a snow day before this time due to bad weather)
May 2: All library books are due and should be turned into the library today!
May 3: Track and Field Day at the high school track and football field (Please send sunscreen if your child needs it!)
May 4: Scheduled SNOW DAY- no school! (This is subject to change if we have to use a snow day before this time due to bad weather)
May 9: Final Celebration Assembly in elementary gym (8:15am)
May 10: SUPER KIDS DAY!!! (Please wear swim trunks and bathing suits covered with shirts and shorts! Send dry clothes to wear home.)
May 11: Scheduled SNOW DAY- no school! (This is subject to change if we have to use a snow day before this time due to bad weather)
May 14: Behavior Honor Roll Trip to CAMP BOND! (Please wear tennis shoes and send sunscreen and bug spray if needed!)
May 15: AWARDS ASSEMBLY! 8:30 1st grade; 9:00 2nd grade; 9:30 3rd grade; 10:00 4th grade (students may leave with parents after assembly)
May 16: Exemption Day for qualifying students
May 17: Exemption Day for qualifying students……… and LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!
May 18: Summer vacation begins and runs through August 15.
SUMMER ENROLLMENT DATES WILL BE POSTED HERE LATER THIS SPRING…. CHECK BACK!!!
