I attended Boswell Public Schools, Kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating in 1997 then moving to Tahlequah to attend Northeastern State University, graduating with my bachelor's degree in 2001 and my master's degree in 2003.
This is my first year as a Tishomingo Indian, where I serve Pre-K, 1st, 3rd and 5th grades as well as Chickasaw Nation and INCA HeadStart Centers.
My SLP career began in 2003 with ABC Special Services Coop., providing Speech Therapy services to Silo, Bennington and Soper students. From that position, I moved to Kiowa Public Schools, serving Kiowa, Pittsburg and Haywood Schools for four years. After my first daughter was born, I moved closer to home, working for Rock Creek Public Schools for six years.
My husband, Jared, and I live in Coleman and have two daughters, Whitley and Naomi. Whitley attends Tishomingo Elementary while Naomi keeps her Mamoo and Papa entertained. We attend Central Church of Christ in Tish and we enjoy hiking, kayaking and relaxing at "the farm." Whitley also keeps us busy with basketball and softball games.
When I'm not at school, I enjoy cooking/baking, reading, gardening and crafty things. I am always up for a road trip to see what I can discover.
